We are excited to announce the open-sourcing of our Safety and Security product for Generative AI and are looking for a passionate Developer Relations Engineer to help build and foster our developer community from the ground up.

As a Developer Relations Engineer at Privacera, you will be the bridge between our open-source product and the developer community. You will play a critical role in engaging with developers, driving adoption, and ensuring the success of our open-source initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of data security and governance by building and nurturing a vibrant community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Community Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with the developer community through various channels, including social media, forums, meetups, hackathons, conferences, and developer events.
• Technical Advocacy: Advocate for the needs of developers within the company, ensuring their feedback is heard and addressed in product development.
• Content Creation: Develop high-quality technical content such as tutorials, sample applications, blogs, videos, and documentation to help developers use our products effectively.
• Developer Support: Provide technical support to developers through various channels, including forums, social media, and direct interactions. Help developers troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Workshops and Webinars: Plan, organize, and conduct workshops, webinars, and other educational events to promote our platform and train developers.
• Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, product, and marketing teams to align developer relations initiatives with company goals and product roadmaps.
• Feedback Loop: Gather and relay feedback from the developer community to internal teams to improve products and developer experience.
• Metrics and Reporting: Track and report on key metrics related to community engagement, content effectiveness, and developer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Total Experience: 5+ years of experience in developer relations, developer advocacy, or a related role.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, and experience with APIs, SDKs, and developer tools.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create and present technical content to a diverse audience.
• Community Building: Experience in building and managing developer communities, both online and offline.
• Problem-solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Passion: A genuine passion for technology, coding, and helping developers succeed.
• Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with Data/AI Security and Governance and a deep understanding of its developer ecosystem.
• Public Speaking: Experience presenting at conferences, meetups, or other public events.
• Content Portfolio: A portfolio of written or video content aimed at developers.

Event Management: Experience organizing and managing technical events and workshops.
